About Priscilla

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #93574. I practice psychotherapy because I believe that people naturally have the talents to live authentically, with rich and meaningful relationships. I've seen so much shame and stigma within the church community and it brings me great joy to partner with clients to help them increase self-compassion, authenticity, and find healing and feel better.

I identify as Asian American and grew up in the Bay Area. Clients may describe me as dry-humored, laid-back, and a genuine person. My faith is important to me and has changed my life. If spirituality is a big part of your life and you want to incorporate it in treatment, let me know. I would love to integrate your values and beliefs into therapy.

Mission and Vision

To work with the Christian community by assisting individuals to live fuller, more authentic lives.

To partner and support other mental health and holistic providers to cultivate wellness, education on health, and increase well-being within the community.

I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree from University of California, Davis in Human Development. I then received my Master of Arts Degree at John F. Kennedy University in Counseling Psychology. I am also a Certified Domestic Violence Facilitator.

As a therapist, I have had experience in community counseling, school, and private settings. I have also had experience working with adults, couples, families, children, adolescents within these settings as well as leading groups for social skills and substance use. This has  provided me with experience working with clients from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

No matter what the qualifications, it is always possible that I may not be the best fit for you. It's an important part of the process to find a therapist that you feel safe with and can connect with. Let's take some time to find out.
